Installation Guide
This guide provides detailed instructions for installing ZipOne on your Windows system. Follow these steps to ensure a successful installation.
System Requirements
- Operating System: Windows 10 (version 1809 or later) or Windows 11
- Architecture: x64 (64-bit) or ARM64
- RAM: 2 GB minimum (4 GB recommended)
- Storage: 100 MB free disk space
- Permissions: Administrator rights for system-wide installation (optional)
Installation Methods
Method 1: Microsoft Store (Recommended)
- Open the Microsoft Store application
- Search for "ZipOne"
- Click "Get" or "Install"
- Wait for the installation to complete
- Launch ZipOne from the Start menu
Method 2: Direct Download
- Download the installer from our download page
- Run the installer executable (.exe or .msix)
- Follow the installation wizard prompts
- Choose installation location (default recommended)
- Complete the installation
Post-Installation Configuration
File Association
ZipOne will automatically associate with common archive formats. To manually configure:
- Open ZipOne settings
- Navigate to "File Associations"
- Select the formats you want ZipOne to handle
- Click "Apply" to save changes
Context Menu Options
Enable right-click context menu options for quick access:
- Open ZipOne settings
- Navigate to "Context Menu" section
- Enable "Context Menu" option
- Restart ZipOne if prompted
Verification
To verify your installation is working correctly:
- Launch ZipOne from the Start menu
- Try extracting a test archive file
- Check that file associations are working (right-click on an archive)
Troubleshooting

- Ensure your Windows version meets the minimum requirements
- Check that you have sufficient disk space
- Disable antivirus temporarily during installation if needed
- Run the installer as administrator
