  4. Follow the suggested solutions in order

Installation Issues

Issue: Installation Fails

Possible Causes:

  • Insufficient disk space
  • Windows version doesn't meet requirements
  • Antivirus blocking installation
  • Corrupted download

Solutions: Ensure you have at least 100 MB free space, verify Windows 10 version 1809 or later, temporarily disable antivirus, and re-download the installer if needed.

Issue: "Access Denied" Error

Solution: Right-click the installer and select "Run as administrator" to grant necessary permissions.

Extraction Issues

Issue: "Archive is Corrupted" Error

Possible Causes:

  • Incomplete download
  • File corruption during transfer
  • Archive was created with incompatible software

Solutions: Try using ZipOne's Archive Repair feature, re-download the archive, or contact the archive creator.

Issue: "Password Required" Error

Solution: The archive is password-protected. You'll need the password from the archive creator to extract files.

Issue: Extraction is Slow

Possible Causes:

  • Large archive files
  • High compression ratio
  • System resources limited

Solutions: This is normal for large or highly compressed archives. Close other applications to free up system resources, or extract to a faster drive (SSD).

File Association Issues

Issue: Archive Files Don't Open with ZipOne

Solution:

  1. Open ZipOne settings
  2. Navigate to "File Associations"
  3. Select the archive formats you want ZipOne to handle
  4. Click "Apply" and restart ZipOne

Performance Issues

Issue: ZipOne Uses Too Much Memory

Solution: Large archives require more memory. Close other applications, or process archives in smaller batches. Consider upgrading RAM if this is a frequent issue.

Issue: Application Freezes

Solution: This may occur with very large archives. Wait for the operation to complete, or cancel and try extracting specific files instead of the entire archive.

Format Support Issues

Issue: "Unsupported Format" Error

Solution: ZipOne supports 30+ formats. If you encounter an unsupported format, check our Format Support page for the complete list. Some proprietary formats may require conversion.
